UPSC EPFO Exam Guide 2026

The maximum age of the candidates must not exceed 30 years for EO/AO posts and 35 years for APFC posts.

As per the UPSC EPFO eligibility criteria, aspirants having bachelor’s degree in Law, M.A. in Business Administration, Five years degree in Law, or postgraduate diploma in Company Secretary, Management, cost and management accountant, and chartered accountants will be eligible for the exam.

The candidates must be the Indian citizens to be eligible for this post.

In such cases, the exam authorities take steps to shortlist the eligible candidates only. The selection is done on the basis of their higher qualification, post experience etc.

To be eligible for the UPSC EPFO 2026 examination, candidates must meet eligibility requirements based on the post they are applying for. For Enforcement Officer/Accounts Officer (EO/AO), c andidates should be between 21 and 30 years of age, holding a bachelor's degree from a recognized university. For Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner (APFC): Applicants must be between 21 and 35 years of age, also possessing a bachelor's degree from a recognized university.
