For Defence disabled personnel, the upper age limit is relaxable by 3 years for the UR category and 8 years for SC/ST category. However, this is subject to the condition that they cannot have more chances than the maximum number of chances allowed to any general candidate under the age limit for recruitment to a service or group of services.
