Those who successfully complete this one-year program will be awarded a Post Graduate Diploma in Sales & Relationship Banking by the Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), a Deemed to be University under Section 3 of UGC Act, 1956 and an Institution of Eminence.

What are the eligibility criteria for the program?

Educational Qualification (As of 01.06.2021): Graduation Degree in any stream from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized by Central Government with 50% or above percentage. Age limit: Anyone who is of 21 years of age and also is less than 27 years.

Is there any specific location where the candidates will go for the internship after the classroom training?

Accepted Answer

Candidates may be placed in any of the HDFC Bank branches across the country. It depends on the requirements that may arise from time to time.

Will the student get any assistance from HDFC bank for availing an education loan?

Accepted Answer

HDFC Bank provides the option of paying for the Future Bankers Program through an Education Loan.

Are the students bound to take the loan from HDFC bank only?

Accepted Answer

It is not compulsory to take the Education Loan from HDFC Bank only. The candidate gets the option to avail of an Education Loan from any other Financial Institution that they think is suitable.

If a student opts for a loan from HDFC bank, then what will be the process?

Upon selection, applicants will be given the option to self-fund the Program or avail of a student loan from HDFC Bank. A Loan Helpdesk will be available to guide applicants through the process of completing loan formalities. For loan-related queries, please write to future.bankers@hdfcbank.com.

What documents does the candidate need to carry for the interview process?

What will happen if the candidate is not able to complete the program?

Accepted Answer

HDFC Bank will not be able to offer a job to candidates who do not complete the Program. HDFC Bank is not bound to offer a job to any candidates just because they get the offer letter.

Question 11

What will happen to the Provisional Offer Letter in that case?

Accepted Answer

In this case, the Provisional Offer Letter given at the beginning of the Program will stand withdrawn without any recourse to the candidate.

Will the fees be refunded in that case?

Accepted Answer

The amount paid as fees for the course or for any other expenses regarding the Program, will not be refunded. HDFC Bank or Manipal Education campus is not bound to provide employment to candidates not able to complete the program successfully.

Do the students get any stipend during the program?

Accepted Answer

For the first 6 months of classroom training, Rs. 5,000 per month will be given as a stipend and for the next 3 months (internship) they will be paid Rs. 10,000 per month and again for the next 3 months which are final on-the-job training, Rs. 10,000 per month will be paid.
