Q1.Is it mandatory to send the original certificates as a hard copy?
No, candidates need not send any original certificates. However, all the original certificates will be verified during the process of Document verification when asked by FCI.
Q2.How can one raise the objections with respect to the answer key?
There is no provision for raising objections against the final answer key. However, candidates can raise objections against the provisional answer key, if any, within three days of the exam.
Q3.How the final merit list is prepared?
The final merit list is prepared on the basis of marks scored in Phase II(Online Test) and qualifying skill test. Phase I (Online Test) marks will not be counted while preparing the final merit list.
Q4.Is there any negative marking in any stage of the exam?
Yes, negative marking is there in Phase I as well as Phase II exam. 1/4th marks will be deducted for every wrong answer and no marks deduction for questions that are not attempted.
Q5.When will the FCI Stenographer Recruitment application process start?
FCI Stenographer Recruitment application process will start after the offficial notification for the 2025 cycle is released.
