Q1.How many questions will be asked in the exam?
In Phase 1, 100 questions will be asked for 100 marks. In Phase 2, there will be two papers. Paper 1 will hold 120 questions for 120 marks. Paper 2, which will be given by AG-III (Technical) and AG-III (Accounts) candidates only, will hold 60 questions for 120 marks.
Q2.Do all candidates have to give Paper 2 of Phase II exam?
No, all candidates do not have to give paper 2. In Phase 2, Paper 1 will be given by all candidates. Paper 2 will be given by only those candidates that are applying for the post of AG-III (Technical) and AG-III (Accounts).
Q3.What will be the duration of the online test?
The duration of Phase 1 exam will be 60 minutes. For Phase 2, the duration for Paper 1 will be 90 minutes, and the duration for Paper 2 will be 60 minutes.
Q4.Will both Phase exams be held on the same day?
No, phase 1 and phase 2 will be held on different dates and days. Phase 1 will be held first, and candidates who qualify Phase 1 can go for the Phase 2 exam.
Q5.Will there be negative marking in this exam?
Yes, there will be negative marking in both the phases. For each wrong answer, one-fourth of the mark will be deducted. No negative marking will apply for unattempted questions.
