| Step 1 | Appear and qualify in the objective-type Written Examination of Punjabi Language (Matriculation Level) by scoring a minimum of 50% marks. |

| Step 2 | Candidates who qualify Step 1 will take the Punjabi Stenography Skill Test at a speed of 80 Words Per Minute (WPM) and transcribe at 15 WPM. A maximum of 8% mistakes are allowed. |
