Q1.What is the age limit for BSSC Group D exam?
The age limit for the BSSC Group D exam is 18-37 years as on 1st January of the year of exam. The upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for BC/EBC/female candidates.
Q2.What is the exam pattern of BSSC Group D?
The exam includes an objective type written test of 90 minutes duration consisting of 90 multiple choice questions. The exam will be conducted in Hindi and English. There is a negative marking of 1/3rd marks for wrong answers.
Q3.What is the application fee for BSSC Group D?
The application fee for general/EWS male candidates is Rs. 300/-. For SC/ST male candidates domiciled in Bihar, the fee is Rs. 150/-. For female & PwD candidates, the application fee is Rs. 150/-.
Q4.When will the admit card be released?
The BSSC generally releases the Group D admit cards 2-3 weeks prior to the exam date. Candidates are advised to check the official website regularly for updates regarding the admit card release date.
Q5.How many attempts are allowed in the BSSC Group D exam?
There is no restriction on the number of attempts for BSSC Group D exam. A candidate can appear for the exam in multiple attempts till the upper age limit criteria is satisfied.
